The park is open year-round, but the best time to visit is from November to February for pleasant weather and high chances of wildlife sightings. The Dhikala and Bijrani zones are ideal for spotting tigers during this period.

Safaris can be booked online through the official Uttarakhand forest website or via authorized tour operators. You can choose between jeep safaris, canter safaris, or elephant safaris, depending on the zone and availability.

The Dhikala zone is renowned for its high tiger density and breathtaking landscapes, making it a favorite among visitors. Other popular zones like Bijrani and Durga Devi also offer good chances of spotting tigers and other wildlife.

Apart from safaris, you can enjoy bird watching, nature walks, fishing (in certain areas), and exploring forest rest houses. The park is also a haven for photography enthusiasts due to its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity.

The nearest town, Ramnagar, serves as the gateway to Jim Corbett. It is well-connected by road and rail. From Delhi, it’s a 260 km drive (approx. 5–6 hours). The nearest airport is Pantnagar, located about 80 km from Ramnagar.

Note: All safaris are subject to availability and park regulations. Advance booking is highly recommended to secure your spot.
